CIVIL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN / DESIGNER - We are currently looking for an engineering technician with a minimum of 3 years' experience. Applicant should be a self-starting team player and possess strong technical, organizational and communication skills. Duties include assisting in site evaluations to assess grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, on-site sanitary sewer system testing and design, and water systems associated with rural land development. Ability to perform engineering analyses for related reports, planning skills associated with the preparation of tentative maps and site plans a plus. Computer and AutoCAD knowledge preferred. Salary commensurate with experience.
CIVIL ENGINEER - We are currently looking for a civil engineer with 3 to 5 years’ experience in engineering design, project management and plans preparation. California PE desirable, but not required. QSP/QSD certification a plus. Applicant should have experience in land development, a desire to manage and supervise up to 3 engineering staff and possess strong organizational, communication and time management skills.
Duties include:
* Supervising & mentoring up to 3 junior staff engineers
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Job estimating, budgeting and contract preparation
* Work independently and as part of the team
* Meeting project timelines and requirements
* Strong client relation skills
Skills/knowledge requirements:
* Grading, Drainage & Erosion Control Plan preparation
* Low impact development design and stormwater engineering
* Construction Plan preparation
* Technical Report writing
* On-site sanitary sewer system and water testing and design
* Stream restoration associated with rural land development
* Design of bridges, culverts, and other stream crossing associated with rural roads
* Rural properties site assessment (often on steep, uneven terrain)
* Strong communication & writing skills
* Experience with design (including Civil3D) & modeling software tools
Salary Range: $80,000 to $100,000 per year, depending upon experience
LAND SURVEYOR – We are currently looking for a land surveyor with 2 years’ experience in rural land surveying, often on steep, uneven terrain. California LS desirable, but not required, or have completed the LSIT with the desire to obtain professional licensure within one year. AutoCAD, robotic total station and/or GPS experience a must. Applicant should have experience in boundary and topographic surveying and mapping, a desire to manage the survey department and possess strong organizational, communication and time management skills.

* Job estimating, budgeting and contract preparation
* Work independently and as part of the team

* Strong client relation skills
